Sports Policies

Sport is an essential element in the development of a child. Team sports are compulsory and the philosophy at Cowan House is one of participation and enjoyment of all sporting disciplines. We firmly believe in producing competitive teams, learning both to win and to lose! As in all things – always do the best you possibly can.

DRESS
1. The manner in which you are dressed reflects the way you behave and play.
2. Make sure you are dressed correctly because you are representing your school.

CONDUCT
1. ALWAYS try your very best. You can't do better than your best.
2. Play to win, but it is the MANNER in which you win or lose that is important.
3. Always be DISCIPLINED, SUPPORTIVE and ENCOURAGING in your game and practices.
4. Always be COURTEOUS and SPORTING
5. The way you practice is the way you play your game.
6. Above all else, always ENJOY your sport.
